A dispatch desk built around one rule: every load is your call
LaneHarvest is a US truck dispatch service. We find and negotiate loads for owner-operators and small fleets running 11 kinds of equipment, from 26 ft box trucks to step decks, reefers, tankers and car haulers.
We built the desk around the most common complaint about truck dispatch: carriers losing control of their own truck. Loads booked without asking. Rate cons that went to the dispatcher first. Fees that were hard to check. So the way we work is the opposite.
We search, call brokers and negotiate. Then the whole load comes to you: lane, rate, miles, weight, commodity, appointment times and the extras we got written in. You say yes or no. Only on a yes does the broker send the rate confirmation, and it goes straight to you, so the number you sign is the number we're paid on.
Who we work with
Owner-operators with one truck, small fleets of a few trucks in mixed equipment, and new authorities still finding their first brokers. We treat every kind of truck the same way: dry vans and reefers, flatbeds and step decks, power only, hotshots, car haulers, dump trucks, oversize, hazmat and tankers, and 26 ft box trucks on regional and multi-stop routes. What changes from truck to truck is the checklist, not the attention. See all dispatch services.
The desk
Dispatchers work in shifts so the desk is covered around the clock: Mon-Sun, 24/7. Trucks don't stop at five, and neither do night pickups, early produce shed appointments or a breakdown at 2 am.
Each carrier works with dispatchers who know their truck, home base, lanes and floor rate, and every load is checked against them before it's offered. Reefer loads get setpoint, mode and pulp range checked; flatbed loads get securement and tarp terms; box truck routes get stop counts and liftgate needs.
How we're paid
A percentage of the gross on loads you actually haul: 5% standard, 7% for new authorities, 26 ft box trucks and hotshots, 4% per truck for fleets of two or more. No setup fee, no minimum, month-to-month with 30 days notice. If you don't haul, you don't pay. Details on pricing.
What we won't do
- Book a load without your yes. There's no forced dispatch. You can say no to any load, for any reason, and it costs nothing.
- Hide the rate. The broker sends the rate confirmation straight to you. No marked-up rates and no secret margins between what the broker pays and what you see.
- Lock you in. No long contracts and no minimums. Month-to-month, with notice when you want to leave.
- Charge fees you can't check. Every fee on your weekly statement ties to a load you hauled and a rate con you signed.
- Dispatch trucks we can't serve well. We dispatch 26 ft box trucks and larger. Not smaller box trucks, cargo vans or sprinters.
- Sell you on partners. We refer carriers to a few partners and disclose it. Using them is never a condition of dispatch.
