Privacy policy

Last updated October 2026

This policy explains what information LaneHarvest ("LaneHarvest", "we", "us") collects through laneharvest.com, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have. It covers this website and our forms. It doesn't cover the dispatch agreement you may sign with us, or the websites of partners we link to, which have their own policies.

Information you give us

When you apply for dispatch, ask for a factoring quote or send us a message, you give us information such as:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • Business details such as your MC or USDOT number, how long you've had your authority and how many trucks you run.
  • Truck details such as your equipment type, whether it needs a CDL, your home base and the lanes you prefer.
  • For factoring quotes: your approximate monthly invoice volume, whether you factor now and what matters to you in a factoring company.
  • Anything you choose to write in a notes or message field.

Please don't send us sensitive information we haven't asked for, such as Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or medical information.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our servers and our hosting and security providers receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the page that sent you to us. We use this to run, secure and improve the site.

If analytics are enabled on the site, we use a privacy-focused analytics service that counts visits and form events without building advertising profiles. We record the page and campaign that brought you to a form (for example, the UTM tags in a link) so we know which pages are useful; this is kept in your browser's session storage and sent with your form.

Our calculators may remember your last inputs in your browser's local storage so they're there when you come back. That information stays on your device; we don't receive it unless you choose to share a result link. Our forms may also save your answers in your browser's session storage while you fill them in, so a page refresh doesn't lose your progress.

To keep out spam and bots, our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is filling in the form. Cloudflare processes information about your browser and connection for that purpose under its own privacy policy.

How we use your information

  • To contact you about the dispatch service or factoring quote you asked about, by phone, text or email, as you agreed on the form.
  • To answer your messages and provide the services you sign up for.
  • To send you a confirmation email after you submit a form.
  • To understand which pages and tools are useful, and to improve them.
  • To protect the site and our business from spam, fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing, except as described below for factoring quotes you request.

Who we share it with

  • Our factoring partner. If you request a factoring quote, or tick the box asking for one on the dispatch application, we send the details you gave us to RTS Financial so they can contact you with a quote. RTS Financial handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may be paid a referral fee; see our disclosure.
  • Service providers. Companies that help us run the site and our business, such as our hosting provider, our email delivery service (Resend), spam protection and, if enabled, analytics and a CRM or spreadsheet where we track inquiries. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
  • Brokers and shippers, if you work with us. If you become a dispatch customer, we share the carrier details brokers need to set you up and book loads you approve, such as your company name, MC and USDOT numbers, insurance information and contact details.
  • Legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
  • Business transfers. If our business is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Calls, texts and emails

Our forms ask for your consent to be contacted by phone, text and email about the service you asked about, including by automated means. Consent isn't a condition of any purchase. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and out of emails using the link in the email or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than 24 months if you don't become a customer. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as the business relationship lasts and as long afterwards as tax, accounting and legal requirements call for. Then we delete or anonymize them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw consent to be contacted. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, use our contact page. We'll verify the request and respond within the time the law requires.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to this site and limited access to inquiries. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is for trucking businesses and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version. For questions about this policy, contact us.
